The Bread Winner:

My F*cked Up Adventures as a Local Sourdough Baker
Baking and selling Sourdough bread is not quite as f*cking simple as one might think. What started as a simple side hustle by selling bread at farmers’ markets, Jim Serpico is on his way to building a bread empire. This collection of essays details his journey of overcoming obstacles, persevering, and learning from experience–good or bad. It also shares whatever wisdom he has gained through trial and error, along with some science behind sourdough bread. Hopefully, after you finish reading it, you’ll understand how the f*ck sourdough works and learn a little more about Jim in the process.

Reviews

If Jim’s journey into the world of baking wasn’t compelling enough on its own, his genuine and creative narration makes his story all the better. Jim’s explanation of the nuances of baking sourdough was expertly woven with personal anecdotes that made it hard to put the book down

PS: If you can’t handle an F-bomb this book is not for you 🙂
